One child over seven days old and under twenty-four months of age not occupying a seat is carried at a fee of 90% of the adult fare when included in the booking of the accompanying adult passenger.

Children


Accompanying children ages 2 to 11 will be charged the applicable child fare for the flight.

Unaccompanied Minors & Young Travelers


Winair does not accept any unaccompanied minors onboard our De Havilland Twin Otter (DHC).

Winair does accept unaccompanied minors onboard Avions de Transport Regional (ATR).

Booking has to be done 48 hours in advance and child fare is not applicable for unaccompanied minor. A non-refundable fee applies per one-way. Contact our reservation department for booking or more information.

For a child traveling alone you can't check in online.

Arrive at least 3 hours before scheduled departure time and go to check in.
You will need to complete and sign the Winair UM form and all necessary customs and immigration documents must be completed for the day of departure. At check in parents/ guardians will also need to provide:

the Child's passport.
notarized permission for the child to travel as an unaccompanied minor from both parents/ guardians or sole custody parent. The person receiving the child at their destination must be identified in the letter.
copies of the adult's government-issued photo ID/passport.

The terms Unaccompanied minors applies to all minors from the age of 6 years up until they have reached their 11th birthday. A young traveler applies to all minors from the age of 12 up until they have reached their 18th birthday.
